DIRTY LAUNDRY EXHIBITION

My new role as curator for the East Ends newest bar for people to rave about, The Dalston Super Store, is proving to be very interesting indeed. Our second group show titled Dirty Laundry' invited artists to share inner most thoughts, desires, regrets and fetishes. I was more than impressed by the works that were submitted and it became a very diverse show, exhibiting installations, projection's, painting, illustration, photography and even tea towels!
If you didn't make it to the private view then you have until the 10th of July to go check it out and I strongly recommend you do.

These images are all of work created by my very talented boy friend, photographer and artist Moses Powers, I work on many of his images (see above), together we create sets and costumes to tell surreal stories of history and the future with misplaced objects and characters telling their stories. His work really speaks for it's self, enjoy.

HERCULES MAG, PEDRO ALMODOVAR AND ME!

The latest issue of Spain's biannual super chic mens style magazine HERCULES is out now. The whole issue is dedicated to legendary iconic director Pedro Almodovar. A whole range of people including Gaultier, Galliano, Tom Ford and Karl Largerfeld have contributed art works to the issue. Almodovar requested that imagery of his two ultimate screen goddesses was included and the guys at Hercules incited me to do it! Thank you Hercules!
So here they are, Lauren Bacall (LEGENDARY) and Jeanne Moureau (UNDENIABLE).
I'm off to Madrid next week for an exhibition of all the art work and to hopefully meet the inspiration himself!

Vogue Homme, Heidi, Nicola, ME

Here are some more of my pieces for a shoot in the second issue of Vogue Home Japan. I was commissioned to make a huge plastic C.N.D head piece. So I pushed it a bit further and filled it with acrylic paint, squashing to create a trippie spectrum of colours......only thing is it never dries!

I just created this new look for singer and performer Mama
She has started her solo career after the recent split of her band Mama Shamone, she is an Alien Android sex goddess about to take over the galaxy and beyond. And of course she is one of the almighty Batty Bass crew.
