I've moved away from my usual female subjects to experiment in the male form. An evolution and experimentation of colour is also there!

Myself and a few other artists were commissioned to decorate the fitting rooms in Ladies Contemp on 2. My ladies dress is unravelling around her fingers and through her mouth, the thread carries on into the interior of the fitting room and weaves it's way around and up to a dove carrying a needle and a ball of thread.

GRAFFITI INNIT!

I've grown up all my life around amazingly talented Graffiti artists and pretended I was one for a few months when I was fourteen so doin a graf backdrop was quite a challenge.
Also killed my fingers doing it, they must have muscles there that we just dont! Good for some?!
But! I've been told that this backdrop is not bad for a GRAF-FAKIST.

ROPE TRICK

About three years ago I was asked by my photographer friend Morgan
to style a shoot for him, just a test, but a great idea.
The story is all about a girl who goes walking in the woods and finds a rope snake, frightened at first, she then befriends the snake, falls in love, has sex, makes a rope baby and then tragically is
killed by her snaky lover.
Three years later its picked up by a new magazine in Panama called STATUS and it makes the front cover!
It just shows you never know whats going to happen!!

NO-ONEBOUTIQUE GETS FISHIE!

All this week I have been wrapping, scaling and tattooing to create this mermaid for the boutique NO-ONE.

My fetish for masking tape carries on into ever changing shapes and forms. This time a fish with boobs and great taste in accessories!

Mermaids have been an obsession of mine from a very young age but this is the first time I've made one, life size too. It's great seeing fantasies come to life.......next on the list a mermaid tattoo and then maybe a Chimera made from masking tape as well.

This creepy, sexy thing will be up for about two weeks so go and check her out.

Every so often I will post music videos that I love, usually because of the styling, the track, videos that influenced me, that I wish I was involved in and that take me back to early memories which then become apparent that these were things that shaped my life, style and work. Heres a few to get started........I love love love this video, this is the video that really made me first want to get into music video styling, it was so appealling, models moving to music, the humour, the style, the grade.....amazing! Styled by Fee Doran who I then went and worked for for two years as a youngster, I then went on to style a video for Zoowoman, but with only one model it's not a touch on this.My final collection at college was named after this track

Undeniably I am an 80's kid, born in 81 it is that decade that is most relevant to me and seems to seep out into alot of my work, watch this video and need I say more....... a master piece!
